Steve Riser, co-founder and supervisor at Restoration Counseling Center, is a licensed Professional Counselor who has been in private practice in Memphis TN, and now here in Nashville.
Prior to being in private practice Steve worked for Youth Village in Memphis working with at risk adolescents, families and parents for many years.
He has a passion for working with men and couples healing from sexual addictions, affairs, and other relational struggles. Steve also works with those needing help with depression, anxiety, adult life transition issues, teen sexuality, parenting and spirituality. In addition, Steve has a passion for working with those in ministry.
Steve is relational in his approach to counseling and believes we are broken in relationships and therefore healed through the context of relationships. He has a grace based approach to helping those in need. Steve believes that as we uncover the roots of our problems and struggles, we attain more clarity into who we truly are and what our true calling is.
